Economy

Ways you can earn money


Catching bugs — Sell to the Bugologist at spawn to earn some quick money

Farming, custom farming — grow your crops and sell to Farmer Joe

Fishing — Catch and sell your fish in the fish shop

Quests — Complete quests with the scrolls from the quests NPC



What currencies we have


In-game cash — Default currency used to purchase anything off the server shop or trade with players.

Ambers — Maplewood's premium currency used to purchase anything off the Amber shop in game.



How to earn ambers


Voting — earns you 1 Amber per vote. There are 8 vote sites so there's a possibility of earning 6-8 ambers a day.

Milos Chat games — earn you 1 Amber per win, good luck out there.

Online store purchases — reward you with Ambers per purchase.


Contracts

Contracts are jobs offered by companies. Complete objectives, earn rewards, gain reputation, and unlock better opportunities as you progress.

Reputation

Reputation (Rep) is the main progression system.

Every completed contract awards Rep to:

Use /rep to view your reputation progress.

Abandoning a contract costs Company Rep.

You can have up to 5 active contracts at once.

Companies also have their own slot limits based on your Company Level.

Accepting a contract uses a slot

Abandoning a contract frees a slot but costs Rep

Open My Contracts and right-click the contract to deliver items.

Items must be gathered after accepting the contract. Previously stored items will not count.


Slayer Contracts

Mobs from spawners and trial spawners do not count.

Natural spawns, spawn eggs, and summoned mobs all count.

FAQ

Why can't I accept a contract?

You've reached the 5-contract limit or need more Company Rep.

How do I get more slots?

Increase your Company Level by completing contracts for that company.

Why is a company locked?

Your Category Level is too low.

Does Rep carry between companies?

No. Company Rep is separate for each company.

What happens if I abandon a contract?

You free the slot but lose Company Rep.

Chestshops

How to create a shop


  1. Craft and place a chest where you want your shop to be
  2. Type /qs create <price>while holding the item you want to sell


Editing your chest shop

Right-click the shop sign to open the Shop Control Panel in chat, where you can adjust your shops's price, stock and other settings.



Finding a specific item

To find a specific item, type /qs finditem <TO_BUY> or <TO_SELL> then press space and select or type the item you're searching for. A GUI menu will open showing all player shops currently buying or selling that item.

Each enchantment book will display which tools or armor piece it can be applied to, so you always know what it's compatible with before using it.

Tinkerer


The Tinkerer allows you to convert unwanted enchantment books into Secret Gems and Experience Bottles. This ensures you can always turn unused enchants back into valuable resources instead of letting them go to waste.



Alchemist


The Alchemist lets you combines enchantment books to increase their level and use Lucky Gems to improve success rates or value. This helps you upgrade your enchants and maximize their potential.

Land Claiming

What it does


Land Claiming allows you to protect your base or public areas (such as player warps) so you don’t have to worry about griefing or theft.



What you can do with it


You can claim land and customize it however you’d like — whether you’re creating a public player warp, building a shop, or protecting your new home.

Vote Piñata


The Vote Piñata event triggers whenever the server reaches its vote goal. When it starts, a party llama spawns at /warp pinataparty. Jump in and hit the piñata to earn a variety of fun rewards!



Corners


The Corners Event challenges players to choose the right corner before time runs out. It features multiple modes:


4-Color Mode — Four corners, simple choices, great for quick rounds.

8-Color Mode — Eight corners, tougher decisions, and a higher challenge.

Fishing


Upgrade your fishing experience with specialized gear and tools. The Fisherman sells rods, lures, and the Fish Finder, which allows you to scan nearby waters and see what species are swimming below the surface. Keep your bait and hooks organized in your Fishing Bag, accessible anytime with /fishingbag, and track every fish you’ve caught in your Fish Codex, available at the Fisherman.


Caught something impressive? Display your fish as trophies on your wall or sell them to the Fisherman for profit.

The Fisherman


Farming

Farming


To start farming, buy seeds from Farmer Joe in spawn and plant them in Planter Pots, which must stay watered for crops to grow. Each pot holds up to 3 water charges, and you can water them using a Watering Can. Dry pots will stop crop growth, so keep them hydrated!

Grows your plants and must stay watered to keep them growing


Soil Surveyor

Click on a planter pot or sprinkler using this tool to read the water and fertilizer amounts


Fertilizer

Increases your crop yield and higher tiers increase the tier of crop you can harvest.



Watering cans


Used to manually water planter pots, add water charges, and refill sprinklers.


Copper Watering Can

Waters planter pots in a 1x1 formation

Iron Watering Can

Waters planter pots in a 1x3 formation

Gold Watering Can

Waters planter pots in a 3x3 formation



Sprinklers


Automatically waters nearby planter pots within range, must be refilled with a Watering Can, and helps maintain large farms.

Crop Protection


Crows will eat unprotected crops, so place a Scarecrow near your farm to keep them safe.

Prevents all crop loss from crows within a 7×7 radius, completely blocking crow damage in its range.


Crop Growth & Harvest

Crops can be harvested once they reach full growth. Each harvest has a quality tier: Normal, ⭐ Silver, or ⭐⭐ Gold — higher-quality crops sell for more.


Selling Crops

You can sell your crops to Farmer Joe at spawn, but he rotates his stock, so you won’t be able to sell everything at once.

Pineapple → Garlic → Eggplant → Corn → Chinese Cabbage → Cabbage → (repeat)




Bug Catching

Finding Bugs & What to Do With Them


Bugs can be found throughout the main overworld. Use a Bug Net to catch and collect them. Bugs come in different rarities, and the higher the tier, the more valuable they are. You can sell them to the Bugologist at spawn for profit or collect them and place them into special habitats that store 3-star bugs only.

Ores Types

These special ores can be found naturally throughout the world at all Y-levels, making them accessible no matter where you mine. Each ore type is the same rarity and can be processed and used to craft its own unique full armor set, allowing you to collect and gear up with your favorite materials.

Armor & Set Abilities


Ametrine Armor

Consecutive hits on the same enemy slightly increase your attack speed.


Amber Armor

In the Nether, catching a fish grants Fire Resistance for 15 seconds.


Aquamarine Armor

After standing still for 10 seconds, your hunger and saturation slowly restore.


Bloodstone Armor

Killing farm animals increases their drops by 1.25×.


Charoite Armor

Increases block reach by 1.5 blocks but does not affect melee attacks.


Crystalite Armor

When you take damage, there is a chance to apply Slowness II to attackers for 3 seconds.


Galenite Armor

Grants 2 extra hearts while worn.


Iolite Armor

Grants the Water Breathing effect while worn.


Kyanite Armor

Fish bite faster while fishing, with a stronger effect during rain (1.25× bite chance).


Labradorite Armor

Mining continuously in the same direction grants increasing Haste, resetting after 3 seconds.


Moonstone Armor

Automatically grants Night Vision while underground and is disabled in sunlight.


Pearl Armor

Crops grow faster near you during daylight within an 8-block radius (1.15× speed).


Peridot Armor

When harvesting crops, you have a 5% chance to increase the crop yield by 2×.


Rhodonite Armor

Has a small chance to reduce melee damage taken and knock attackers backward.


Rubis Armor

Crops will not break when you jump on them.


Smoky Quartz Armor

Mined blocks are sent directly to your inventory.
